Our forefatherd had the right idea! To place their faith in "GOD". I am one of the Americans that do! Thank GOD a lot of Americans do the same! Do not let God out of these military funerals!

First I want to say I believe in God. Second I honestly believe the reason the world is in such a sad state is because we the people have taken God out of every thing we believe in. It is because of God that we were made. Without Him we are nothing. Just look at the world we live in today. Wouldn't it be a much better place with Him in it?

2007 policy that prohibits volunteer honor guards from reading recitations — including religious ones — in their funeral rituals, unless families specifically request them. The key words are "Volunteer" such as VFW and Am Legion and "unless the families request them. Active duty Honor Guards seldom speak at funerals. It really is about what the families want. If a family specifically says they do not want God mentioned, the volunteers should honor the request.

The fool hath said there is no God! I find it so ridiculious that when people are in trouble they cry out "God help me". Amazing isn't it that this country was a wonderful, flourishing land when God was in control-you don't have to believe in our God, just leave ours alone. Jesus Christ is Lord now and will be forever!

God bless you Linda....I believe the same way. Put God back at the head of the American family... government...schools... and any other office of authority. " God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in times of trouble...." Psalm 46: 1
