stop fracturing the future of mankind
Anythying that harms the environment is a crime against the planet itself. It is also violence against generations to come.
Think Tesla's electromagnetic power, hydro power, solar & wind power - there is no long term use for fossil fuels they are redundant & fracking basically kills the environment - look at America's fracking areas - now contaminated by fracking? wake up people think about the power you use & where it could come from?
Nos esta entrando la vena suicida ??? creo que los Mayas tenían razón por desgracia para los que vemos .
My country Denmark used to be a cool country in regards to foreign policiy, firstaid, and many other good stuff. Now all we didnt destroy was our way of energy. And this so close to being run over by stupid politicians and big oil companies..
If we say no to fracking, we still have something to be proud of
The Opponents of Shale Gas are Spied, the Government is Fully Aware, but not Reacting.

The shale gas investors in Poland are spying local communities which have fears of the environmental impact of shale gas extraction. Dziennik Gazeta Prawna (DGP) has a report of one of these companies. It was delivered to the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, then with some Ministry comments was sent the head of the Prime Minister Chancellery Tomasz Arabski the head of the Internal Security Agency (ABW) and the Deputy Minister responsible of Police in Poland (MSW).
The Government note signed by Beata Stelmach - Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs says: "The Ministry of Foreign Affairs received from one of the energy companies, engaged in exploration of shale gas, a copy of the record of a discussion anti-shale associations "(...) the contents of the enclosed information indicates a significant radicalization of positions of NGOs in relation to shale gas" - wrote Stelmach.
What's in the report?
Five-page study of the corporation which went to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, is a recording of a debate runned at the beginning of August in one of the hotels of the town of Leba (Pomerania). Paricipants were representatives of citizens' organizations working in the Pomeranian province as well as ordinary farmers.
At the beginning of the report undiscloded author gave a characteristic of each participant. "Ilona Olszewska - issue of wind energy - tall and slim lady, short dark hair, nice, have problem to pronounce " r ", (...) Werner Rudkowski, a farmer, who did accuse Geofizyka of tresspassing on his property" - we read in this document. Then there was a description of the emerging conflicts between the participants.
The report concludes with the pointing of conclusions of the meeting: creation of a center of coordination of joint activities, writing questions for the Members of Parliament, preparing a complaint to Polish Ombudsman, demanding the Environmental Impact Assesments of the drillin. "The participants do not want their property to become mining areas, they are aware that they are called eco-freaks, cones of Russia and Gazprom" - writes the author of the report prepared for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
- I'm shocked. We did not know that a spy of Big Oil is among us. She did not participate in the discussion, even though the meeting had an open formula - said co-organizer of the meeting - Monika Galasiewicz, who have learned from us about the existence of the Report.
"Fuel Security of the State is at stake".
Ministry of Foreign Affairs they participation in preparation of the Report explains this way: "In view of the intention to breach public security and order a copy[of the document] was sent to the authorities responsible for ensuring public safety (ABW, MSW - ed.)" - says the press office of the Ministry.
ABW and Police have confirmed that have received such a letter. Declined to give information though, what action has been taken. One of the officers explained anonymously: - We have a permit to run udercover operations, in the end it is about energy security of the State.
One of the organizers of the meeting in Leba, Polish MEP Boguslaw Sonik, comments: - The cover letter has a sober note of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, that the Ministry of the Environment should at last begin a wide awareness campaign for local authorities and communities. Too bad, that it ends with words only. It would be really bad if instead of that campaign people would be spied.
This cause is important to me because my District Council is SERIOUSLY considering allowing Fracking in my area, the Mendip Hills, UK. Glastonbury Chalice Well, where Joseph of Arimathea supposedly placed The Holy Grail for safe keeping is only 11 miles away! The thinking patterns of some of my government representatives on this matter truly amaze and disappoint me!
I live in Shepton lMallet, UK. My District Coiuncil is currently looking@ allowing Fracking in our area. The Mendip Hills. I am concerned that ultimately Glastonbury, which is only 11 miles away and has the famous Chalice Well will be contaminated. This is the well that is supposedly (in Mythology) where Joseph of Arimathea placed the Holy Grail for safe keeping. THIS is why this cause is important to me! l
Fracking kills the environment.........it needs to be stopped.
How does hydraulic fracturing kill the environment?
I am an old man ( but I worry for the young kiddies who are just starting life ) that's my main concern?
That is exactly my biggest concern too. Many are quite focussed on the fracking here and now and worry about their water supplies being contaminated. I`m more worried about the longer term impacts that will be affecting our children and grandchildren. I don`t want these future generations to look back in history and wonder why their grandparents sat back and did nothing or even contribute to the problem. This is why I do what I do and will most likely never give up. I have a duty to ensure I...
