Mountains don"t grow back. They just leave a big ugly hole. It's stupid just like the people doing it.
Because these people need our help!
Big Money must NOT be allowed to corrupt the earth for the sake of corporate profits. Mountain top removal has ramifications that impact the ecosystem in ways too numerous to list here. Just because it can technologically be done, doesn't mean it should happen. The government must stop this madness..
This is DISGUSTING! This absolutely makes me want to string up everyone involved in it! No excuses by the billionaires suffice!
once they're gone you don't get them back..... how horrible to intentionally cause the death of thousands of animals and destroy such beautiful scenery. That's like us telling Washington to tear down the White House and hundreds of other monuments How would they feel if it was happening in there back yards...SAVE THE MOUNTAINS..
Hi Judy! Sorry to here about that Great Man that just recently pass! My Cousin Gorge Cortese told me all about your cause. Please if there is enything I could do, let me know! Truly yours Artie!
The ominous growth of human population world-wide, but particularly in the U.S.A., has increased pressures to wrest mineral resources from the environment, at whatever cost to that environment, even if it means destroying other resources and priceless historical treasures for the benefit of stockholders. The majority of American citizens must demand the preservation of their historical heritage, as exemplified by battlefields of war or the fight for social justice.
Everything is connected. Destroy one part and you begin the destruction of all...
Mountaintop removal is a destructive and unsustainable practice that benefits a small number of corporations at the expense of local communities and the environment. Deciduous forests are destroyed and streams are filled with dirt and debris and toxins. Also, the permanent loss of ecosystems results in a drastic reduction of biodiversity.
We need to keep our mountians for our children!
