I am an American soldier. I do not agree with removing this page. By petitioning this group, you are all going against what I have fought and sacrificed so much for. I may not agree with what these people are saying and I not like their page, but I will until my last breath so that Americans can say what ever they want. Let me be clear, I do not like their Facebook. But they have the bill of rights on thier side abs have every right to post and say what they want.
You're right. However, some people need to stop and think about what they are saying.
They are the ultimate Heros . I'm so proud of each and every one of them.they put there lives out there every day.GOD bless you and keep you safe.
Amen to this. I lost my husband quite a many year ago and we weren't even in a war. He was deported to the Philipines. Had to go on some hush, hush job and ended-up dead. These males and females put their lives on the line each and every second for what? for us and our freedom. Think about it people. We need to keep all our soldiers in our thoughts and mainly our prayers.
I was in 4 combat zones in my time in the military, Led some damn fine soldiers. I would put my medical Platoon up against any other . I also flew Medevac (Dustoff) and saved a bunch of lives cici and soldiers who wouldnt be around to have kids if it wasnt for people like me and the brave men of the 57th Medical Detatchment (HEL AMB) out of Ft. Bragg N.C. I did 22 years of service for the love of my country. what have these pukes done for anybody but themselves?
Great post Sir. Thank you for your service! Our Son, is a Corpsman in the Navy!
I'm a veteran & I work with them @ USAA. I never met any people that deserve more recognition, praise & honor for fighting for this country. They are why we're the great country we are. That's changing fast since Obama is in office. But we can turn this around if all of us that are called Christian will pray in humility.
Must be nice for these idiots to be so smug that they feel the need to dishonor true heros - the same heros who fight for our rights!
And they do it in the knowledge that no-one can breach the anonymity of the internet. Gutless mugs the lot of them.
They put their life on the line everyday and due more than 1 tours !Who do you think protects our freedom is it you?I do not think so !!
Soldiers not heroes? What moron thought that up? Total lack of respect for all those who willingly place there lives on the line for the sake of the nation and to keep us safe. To me, every single soldier is a hero just by virtue of their willingness to literally lay down their lives for us. This attitude is an abomination born of ignorance. Now, how do we get rid of it?
The attitude that anyone in the military is a hero is born of ignorance. The military is made up of humans with flaws just like the rest of society. To put someone on a pedestal just because they wear a uniform is pretty ignorant
How about you go stand in front of the soldiers since you don't want to support us and take all the bullet mortars and rpgs the iraqis shoot and then tell me who isn't a hero for standing there and not backing down in the face of danger. If you think for one moment that all those that sacrificed their lives for our country aren't heroes then you need a wake up call
Thank you, Anthony, I couldn't have said it better myself. I knew this Ed Munro didn't get my point when he said it's ignorant to put someone on a pedestal just because they wear a uniform. Ugggh!!! The point was these guys write the USA blank checks, which represent their lives!!!
If they weren't heroes they wouldn't be soldiers, they'd be ordinary people. it takes a hero mentality to even consider joining. all of us want to be a hero at some point in life. some spend a lifetime trying but never accomplish it, but any person willing to fight for something I don't deserve then they have to be considered a hero.
our servicemen and women are heroes they fight and sometimes they lose their life. What better way to be a hero, they do it for our country.
i did 24 months in the usmc and i have never seen anybody have the courage these men would like to c these assholes put there hands in goo that wasounce there best friends guts and try to put them back
Terry Conklin speaks of horrors that are simply unimaginable to most of us.
I punched a typewriter in Germany during the Viet Nam era, I can not say to him 'I understand', only Thanks for your Service.
THAT being said, I believe that the energy focused on this issue has been and continues to be one of the reasons that such soldiers continue to be tossed in a virtual dumpster, mentally damaged, incapacitated, murdered.
