Soldiers not heroes? What moron thought that up? Total lack of respect for all those who willingly place there lives on the line for the sake of the nation and to keep us safe. To me, every single soldier is a hero just by virtue of their willingness to literally lay down their lives for us. This attitude is an abomination born of ignorance. Now, how do we get rid of it?

Bush also LIED about his intention to ‘liberate’ Iraq and form a truly democratic government. Then Bush, Cheney and Rumsfeld, along with their assorted henchmen and henchwoman, LIED about the progress of the war. They LIED about the torture, the “extraordinary rendition” and the true economic costs of the war, and they refused to discuss the psychological, physical and spiritual costs to the returning soldiers. Now I ask you: Who is to blame for all the deaths of our UN-Sung Heroes, with all the damaged and mis-treated, even un-treated, soldiers stilling suffering as I type this, WHO should be held accountable? Who should be brought before the courts, as many were during the Nuremberg Trials? Jane Fonda?

Lies Which Soldiers Kill and Die For...

In the first Gulf War, President George Herbert Walker Bush LIED when he claimed that US satellite photos showed Iraqi troops massed on the border of Kuwait.
Then he promoted the false testimony of a Kuwaiti girl (actually the daughter of the Kuwaiti ambassador to the US) who tearfully told a lie about Kuwaiti babies being thrown out of their incubators by cruel Iraqi troops.

Both these and a number of other propaganda stories were soon shown to be LIES, but most of us
---> gullible Americans <-----
had already bought into the stories and enthusiastically endorsed the illegal invasion, led, of course, by paid war correspondents and uber-patriotic retired generals on CNN and all the other major media outlets.
In the second illegitimate Bush-led Gulf War this short list of lies was aggressively spread and dutifully repeated by the media:
1) Saddam Hussein had Weapons of Mass Destruction
(no WMDs were ever found); continued...

I am an American soldier. I do not agree with removing this page. By petitioning this group, you are all going against what I have fought and sacrificed so much for. I may not agree with what these people are saying and I not like their page, but I will until my last breath so that Americans can say what ever they want. Let me be clear, I do not like their Facebook. But they have the bill of rights on thier side abs have every right to post and say what they want.

Amen to this. I lost my husband quite a many year ago and we weren't even in a war. He was deported to the Philipines. Had to go on some hush, hush job and ended-up dead. These males and females put their lives on the line each and every second for what? for us and our freedom. Think about it people. We need to keep all our soldiers in our thoughts and mainly our prayers.

I also flew Medevac (Dustoff) and saved a bunch of lives cici and soldiers who wouldnt be around to have kids if it wasnt for people like me and the brave men of the 57th Medical Detatchment (HEL AMB) out of Ft. Bragg N.C. I did 22 years of service for the love of my country. what have these pukes done for anybody but themselves?

I'm a veteran & I work with them @ USAA. I never met any people that deserve more recognition, praise & honor for fighting for this country. They are why we're the great country we are. That's changing fast since Obama is in office. But we can turn this around if all of us that are called Christian will pray in humility.
