Provide an outlet to tell young people's stories... Inspire a career in media arts... Build leadership and real-world skills... These are among the many ways in which you can make a difference in the lives of Bay Area youth by becoming a Project YouthView 2013 sponsor today.

About Project YouthView

Now in its ninth year, Project YouthView: The Power of Youth in Film, showcases youth-created film shorts from across the Bay Area that highlight the power of young people to make a difference in their lives and in their communities. We also select a featured documentary that connects to "the power of youth" theme and are thrilled that our 2013 selection, Inocente, received a Best Documentary Short Academy Award this month for its touching portrayal of a 15-year-old homeless and undocumented girl's fierce determination to become an artist.Through the youth films and the featured documentary, Project YouthView opens up important dialogue between youth and adults about the issues young people face and inspires youth to tell their stories and pursue a career in media arts. For the youth planners who have been coordinating the event since the fall, Project YouthView provides a powerful vehicle for developing leadership and real-world skills.
