Help us improve call centres

Dear all

The ASU has been contacted by call centre workers who have been required by their employer to obtain an ABN number and operate as an “independent contractor”. This includes workers being paid on a call rate basis (eg. $1.10 per call) instead of an hourly/weekly rate

In order to improve conditions for these employees/ independent contractors, we want to make contact with more staff in this position.
