Beautiful Game Turned Ugly: Racism in Soccer

This past month we've seen players throughout Europe being attacked because of their race. Jozy Altadore was verbally abused (http://soccernet.espn.go.com/blog/_/name/espnfcunited/id/3030?cc=5901) after he scored a goal in his Dutch League match, while Kevin-Prince Boatang (http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/sportvideo/9778415/AC-Milans-Kevin-Prince-Boateng-leads-team-off-pitch-in-protest-at-racist-chanting-in-friendly-match-with-Pro-Patria.html) had to leave his game because of racial threats from the crowd.

Becuase of this uptick in racism in sports I wanted to share this piece from ESPN about racism in soccer from 4 years ago. It's still here, and it might be worse than ever. Watch this piece and lets use it as motivation to  stamp out racism in sports!
