A big THANK YOU to all of you who have donated thus far!

Here's an update from the relief operations on the ground:

BALSA (Bulig Alang sa Mindanao) Mindanao, a citizen-led movement for disaster response and climate justice advocacy, launched a Kusina sa Katawhan (Community Kitchen) at University of Mindanao Matina Gym providing food for 400 children residing in flood-stricken Matina Grabahan.

Leading this particular activity are nuns from Sisters' Association in Mindanao (SAMIN) and youth volunteers.

BALSA will continue its feeding mission in other flood-affected areas for the rest of the week, while it continues its call for climate justice and better disaster response for the communities.
