Operation Christmas Cheer
“Two kinds of gratitude: The sudden kind we feel for what we take; the larger kind we feel for what we give.” Edwin Arlington Robinson

Our name speaks our heart. We believe in the practice of benevolent giving and caring, of unlimited love and kindness for humanity. We firmly believe there is no special season for giving and we would hope our supporters will embrace our programs year round. However, during the traditional Christmas season, we give special attention to supporting those in need.

This year, NWC is hosting a Gratitude Fundraiser to support Streetlights of Bethany projects which includes providing shelter for the homeless, victims of domestic violence and the mentally ill. As we enter the winter months, these donations become even more critical to the survival of the less fortunate people living in our communities in the Washington Area.

Naija Worldwide Charities (NWC) goal is to raise $12,000 by December 31, 2012 which would support housing for several families for 3 months. Our request is that you contribute your year-end tax deductible donation to our gratitude funding as a way of paying forward a small portion of the blessings you have received this year. Our request is that you support us by sharing this newsletter with your friends and family. Our request is that you embrace the spirit of Margaret Mead when she said, “Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.” Please join us a one of the thoughtful.

With Much Gratitude,
Naija Worldwide Charities
