Back to Stop intimidating parents into signing their rights away under duress

Hope for Maine Families

M.R.S.A. 22 ch. 4059 ---> Reinstatement of Parental Rights Statute. This Statute was just passed at the end of 2011! It does not take away your Termination of Parental Rights, it just realizes that parents can change for the better over a period of time. The catch is CPS has to petition the court to reinstate your parental rights, just as they petitioned to terminate them. Here's more info----> http://www.mainelegislature.org/legis/statutes/22/title22sec4059.html

Remember, knowledge equals power! I want all parents to know their rights and not be victim to a CPS investigation at all, but especially not knowing your rights.. GOOGLE is your FRIEND!
