We Indians need to start believing in ourselves. We are always looking at someone or somewhere else rather than at where we are. The grass is always greener on the other side. It is also true that those who live there have worked to make it so. We ‘WISH’ to be clean and organized like Singapore but we are not willing to put in the sustained effort and commitment that are necessary to achieve our objective. In most countries, even little children are taught not to throw litter in street & public places. We in India do so with impunity – both young and old expect the ‘municipal sweeper’ to do his/her job. It is always someone else who is responsible – never me.
