Letter from a professor who is supporting this cause.

Angela Mudd,

Please accept my condolences for your tragic loss.

I wholeheartedly support your efforts to increase awareness of the risks and dangers asscocitated with blood thinners (anticoagulants). When I lecture to health care professionals about anticoagulant therapy, I emphasize that these drugs carry risks even in the best of circumstances.

Dispensing a plastic bracelet is certainly a reasonable, efficiient, and economical method for increasing awareness. it will also prompt the pharmacist to re-emphasize the risks (drug interactions, any trauma, cuts, diet changes, dietary supplements, etc.). Every little bit helps, and will help limit further injury and death associated with these necessary therapies.

You have my support and my permission to use my name and contact information.
