We’ve seen them first-hand. The benefits of golf are endless. This life-long game provides golfers with the ability to socialize, while working out their mental and physical muscles. These benefits are exponential for individuals with disabilities. That is why the National Alliance for Accessible Golf (Alliance) seeks to bring more people with disabilities into the game through inclusive learning and playing opportunities.
To achieve this goal, we are embarking on an initiative to reach more individuals with disabilities than ever before through specialized training of golf instructors, adapted physical educators and recreational therapists. The unique skills of individuals with disabilities require assessment and inclusive training of teachers and therapists to achieve our efforts to grow the game of golf for all.
We’re asking you to join the team of individuals and organizations who support this initiative. Below are some suggested amounts for your consideration, but don’t let that restrict your philanthropic spirit!
$50: This allows the Alliance to reach out to more individuals with disabilities, golf professionals, recreational therapists/agencies and member of the public about the social and therapeutic benefits of golf.
$100: With this contribution, you can become a friend of the Alliance and help the Alliance expand the inclusive opportunities for individuals with disabilities to engage in the game of golf.
$150: This provides one instructor the necessary education to teach the game of golf to a person with a disability.
$___: Choose another amount. Every single dollar will help and is tax deductible.
Your support will help us reach our goal of bringing golf to all. Donate online at www.accessgolf.org or use the enclosed envelope to contribute. Thank you.
