We want to ensure that Armando Galarraga's perfect game goes down in history as it truly was: a perfect game. On June 2nd, 2010 a baseball player by the name of Armando Galarraga was one pitch away from every baseball player's dream: the perfect game. Jim Joyce robbed him of that dream when he mistakenly called Jason Donald safe at first base. Joyce now fully acknowledges and apologizes for this mistake, but it is too late for Armando to enter the annals of baseball history as only the 21st player to retire 27 consecutive batters (3 up, 3 down, 9 innings). Armando smiles and says, "No one is perfect". We agree. But Armando, your game should have been. 1. Recognize Armando's perfect game in all future baseball records. 2. Allow for one instant replay challenge per team per game.
