Back to Vote 4 Autism & Special Needs in 2010 (Australia)

Election Saturday 21st August 2010

With the election announced, the Vote 4 Autism & Special Needs in 2010 campaign will heat up in the immediate future.

As promised, we will soon be making available a standard letter that you will be able to download and email to as many policitians as you like. The main issues being addressed in this letter will focus on:

1/ The call for National Standards for Disabilities and Special Needs in Education with increased funding: The very poor state of our education system is letting down our kids with special needs, their class mates and their teachers.

2/ The requirement for more accessible therapy and medical sevices for people with an ASD and developmental delay of all ages. The services that are currently available for the disability sector are a disgrace that must be addressed ASAP.

There will also be a number of other issues raised, that will hopefully represent most people's important needs. We hope that you will be able to support our campaign and send the letter to as many politicians as possible. By sending the letter, you will be letting them know that you will VOTE AUTSIM & SPECIAL NEEDS IN 2010.

Thank you so very much for your support. Don't forget to keep inviting your friends and family to this cause so that people will stand up and take notice. We have nearly reached 5,000 members, which is a sensational effort, but we need more!

Yours sincerely,
