Protect SE Asia Forests!

The Palm Oil Action Group is concerned about oil palm plantation development and deforestation in Indonesia, Malaysia and Papua New Guinea. In particular, we aim to halt the destruction of forests, waterways, and critical habitat in the name of palm oil plantations.

1. Rainforest destruction is out of control fuelling climate change and the extinction of orangutans and other forest inhabitants.

2. Palm Oil plantations are creating social conflict and perpetuating human-rights’ abuses

3. Australians consume an average of 10kg of Palm Oil per person each year. Palm Oil is often labeled as vegetable oil.
