Hey guys, sorry to bother you, but I'm writing a story for my high school journalism class about the experience of having FM as a young person. The interpretation of young people is a little unclear and it will depend on who I get responses from I guess lol but my class suggested 25 and younger... I don't know how many, if any, of you are that age, but if you are and wouldn't mind answering some questions about your experience with the disease I would greatly appreciate it. I feel that in this time with Lyrica ads running every two minutes and news organizations turning their attention to what they often classify as "an old people's disease" the stories of those of us that are young and suffering is very important. I would greatly appreciate your help in doing this. I am writing the story for my class obviously but i may be sending it to publications to hopefully be published (probably starting with the Fibromyalgia Association's magazine) it may not ever be published but please only respond if you're okay with being published because it's part of the assignment to send it to publications.
In addition, if any of you are leaders of support groups or are involved with organizations or health clinics or whatever and have some information about young people and Fibromyalgia I would also greatly appreciate your help in answering some questions.
if you are interested in helping please message me!
again, thank you all so much for making this group so successful, and special thanks to those of you who helped me out with the photo sensitivity issues, i am currently working on my letters to government officials concerning florescent lighting.
thank you in advance to anyone who is willing to help me with this.
