About

To implement initiatives that will spark a transition of this collective wisdom and expertise to current representatives.

Over the years there has been a growing disconnect between elders’ wisdom and passing on this knowledge to the rest of the Indian population. Because there is much that society can learn from these retirees, Parmarth seeks to implement initiatives that will spark a transition of this collective wisdom and expertise to current representatives. These initiatives include: engaging retirees to help with municipal projects (e.g. public building construction, financial affairs), encouraging retirees to volunteer at gurukuls as guest teachers or lecturers, and compiling a comprehensive manual or set of tutorials (written by retirees) with tips on how to effectively run a community.

Show your support of sharing wisdom by sharing a donation to Parmarth and IHRF’s cause.
