The Save Earth Save Lives International Crusade, by the Agro-Ecology Council of the Philippines Inc. (A.E.C.P.I.), launched a national poster art-making competition by visiting local school campuses in this municipality some 30 kilometers north-west of Manila.
The poster-art contest, with the slogan “Save Earth Save Lives”, aims to raise the level of public consciousness on the importance of healthy global ecosystems to human life.
AECPI, a people’s organization for environmental concerns, is promoting the nature advocacy drive through the participation of schools, colleges, and universities in this country.
The academic institutions are also invited to submit environmental projects or programs to the council as qualifying entries for the first Pag-Asa awards in the best practice for environmental and human well-being.
Deadline for the submission of entries, for both the poster-art and academic project, is on December 31, 2010.
