Update: Honey's Story

Earlier this week, we told you about Honey, a beautiful pit bull rescued from a dogfighting ring.  We knew that Honey's story would capture the hearts of all animal lovers who read it, but we were taken aback by the outpouring of concern for her current welfare.  Everyone wants to know: did Honey get her happy ending?

We are happy to report that she did -- Honey was adopted by one of the vet techs who worked with her while she was receiving medical treatment.  You can see the two of them together in our slideshow here: https://secure.humanesociety.org/site/Donation2?df_id=8122&8122.donation=form1&s_src=fbcausesbulletin121611 (https://secure.humanesociety.org/site/Donation2?df_id=8122&8122.donation=form1&s_src=fbcausesbulletin121611).

We are inspired by the compassionate responses we’ve to Honey’s story, but we know that there are many more animals in need of a hero.  Please consider making a donation, in any amount you can afford, and help save animals suffering at the hands of dogfighting rings, Canadian sealers, factory farms, puppy mills, and other forms of cruelty https://secure.humanesociety.org/site/Donation2?df_id=8122&8122.donation=form1&s_src=fbcausesbulletin121611 (https://secure.humanesociety.org/site/Donation2?df_id=8122&8122.donation=form1&s_src=fbcausesbulletin121611).

Thank you for all you do for animals.

Sincerely,
