The Joey Holt Foundation is Dedicated to Educating Everyone on the Severity of the FLU and the Importance of Annual Vaccination
Please join our Fight Against the FLU!
My Son, Joey Holt, a second grader & healthy 7 year old died on November 5, 2009 from complications of H1N1.
Since then, we have formed The Joey Holt Foundation a non-profit 501(c)3 organization which focuses on community out-reach to educate parents, caregivers and our youth on the severity of the FLU and the absolute importance of being vaccinated EVERY year.
Since our journey began, we have collaborated with many wonderful and inspiring individuals of which several have partnered with The Joey Holt Foundation, such as Families Fighting Flu, Kids Come First, Centers for Disease Control, California Department of Public Health, California Primary Care Association, American Lung Association and the City of Rancho Cucamonga. Together our participation in localized and national FLU campaigns have been so rewarding, especially with the thought that we have already saved numerous lives.
Our love for Joey is the fuel that will continue to drive our our advocacy on behalf of all people, in hopes that another parent will never have to walk a day in my shoes. Please join our Fight Against the FLU!
*Remember, this can happen to anyone. Be educated- get vaccinated*
