Pangolin scales seized man arrested


A 39-year old man was arrested for illegal possession of pangolin scales by wildlife officials working in collaboration with the forces of law and order and with technical support from LAGA. Also found with the 150 kg pangolin scales were 5 gorilla skulls, 7 chimpanzee skulls and an elephant jawbone all packed in a bag. The man who has been described as a leading trafficker in the East of Cameron was arrested when he made an attempt to sell the products. The suspect is known to supply varying wildlife products including leopard skins among others and has international connections as outlets for his products.
