About

Educating and advocating for the conservation and improvement of Tennessee's environment, communities and public health

Since 1970 the Tennessee Environmental Council has been working to protect public health, Tennessee communities, and the environment. The Council actively restores stream banks, plants trees, conducts community education and outreach, and advocates for statewide policy changes to promote a sustainable Tennessee, and supports many other activities through our five Core programs.
