Yolanda Rebuilding Operation

Typhoon Yolanda (international name: Haiyan), the most powerful cyclone in the world to date, slammed into the Philippines on the month of November 2013 just weeks after a 7.2 magnitude earthquake hit islands in the Visayas.

The Visayas island group was under the red zone area. Locations such as Tacloban, Ormoc, Daan Bantayan, Bantayan Island, Dulag-Tolosa Leyte and Concepcion Iloilo were left under devastation, claiming a thousand or more lives.

We have collected relief goods and monetary donations that have fed and sheltered more than 10,000 families in the Visayas. Our community has been active from day 1, from helping relatives and friends locate their love ones to distributing relief packs through our operations.

H.E.L.P for Bangon Visayas is now on their way to help rebuild the livelihood that was taken away mercilessly by Typhoon Yolanda. From survival talks, make-shift shelter tips to educational rehabilitation for children, our team can guide thousands of individuals to rebuild their home and their lives.

Let this holiday season give you another aspect of what Christmas is all about.
