Lion Rescue.co.uk

The thirteen lions have arrived safely from Oradea Zoo in Romania and are now undergoing rehabilitation at Yorkshire Wildlife Park. Several of them will need ongoing veterinary treatment over the coming months. You can help support the upkeep of the lions by adopting one today.... There are two levels of Adoption, which are valid for one year:

Lion Adoption £50

You will receive a photograph of your adopted lion, a factsheet and information about their rescue from Oradea Zoo. Also included is a certificate of adoption and one adult entry ticket to Yorkshire Wildlife Park. (Please note that the lions are not yet on view to visitors. It is hoped that Lion Country will be open April/May 2010 but this depends on the progress with the reserves and of course the progress of the lions and how they adapt to their new environment).

Golden Lion Adoptions £150

The Golden Lion Adoption includes all of the elements as listed above, but in addition includes an invitation for two people to a pre-opening viewing of Lion Country (dates t.b.c.)

Simply Visit www.lionAdoption.com and click on the Lion Adoption link. You can adopt online or by post.

If you would like to make a donation then please visit www.lionrescue.co.uk. to date we have raised just over £128,000 which is fantastic, but we still need to hit our target of £150,000

A big thank you for all your support
