Help find homes for homeless, abandoned, sick or injured cats, as well as help cats escape situations of abuse, neglect, or imminent euthanasia.

Toronto Cat Rescue is a no-kill, all-volunteer group working with the public to promote individual responsibility for animal welfare.

Toronto Cat Rescue is a registered Canadian Charity (#889198727RR-0001)

Each cat rescued by Toronto Cat Rescue is treated for medical needs, spayed/neutered and receives a rabies vaccination at the appropriate age.

Toronto Cat Rescue does not have a shelter. Cats are housed in foster homes to await their adoption, which is why foster homes are such an important part of TCR's program. Each foster home space available represents one more cat that can be helped.

Toronto Cat Rescue is an all-volunteer private organization and requires donations of every kind, from pet food and other cat supplies to the cash required to pay vet bills, and even Canadian Tire money. All donations go directly towards the care of rescued cats. Pre-arranged monthly donations or one-time donations through CanadaHelps are greatly appreciated. Receipts for income tax purposes will be provided.

1. TCR promotes responsible pet ownership - pets are permanent members of the family.

2. Spaying and neutering is a crucial solution to cat overpopulation, which results in thousands of homeless cats.
