Providing information and support for adults who have suffered the loss of a parent,
My partner's mother perished in a house fire just before Christmas 2007. The shock and devastation caused by her passing was almost unbearable for Jayson. There was no center of support or information within his reach to help him find a way to deal with and accept this tragedy or his enormous loss. After searching the Web, I found many resources and a lot of good information to help him cope. But that information was spread far and wide. In creating this group, it is our hope to offer up resources for adult children who have suffered the loss of a parent, as well as offer a forum of support that like-minded adults can share their stories and lean on one another for comfort during a difficult time like this.
