To educate the masses on the real name of the body of water that separates Iran from the Arab Peninsula

I was attending a fairly high calibre function last night of who’s who of business in Dubai. the presenter, BBC's Correspondence to the Middle East kept referring to the Arabian Gulf in her speech.

made me wonder when did it exactly become a norm to change the name of well known, well documented historic body of water. its like French calling the English Channel the French Channel or the Gulf of Mexico suddenly be called Gulf of USA. doesn’t that bother anyone?

1. Respect each other

2. Respect history

3. Respect all cultures, we are not here to offend, we are here to promote!
