Back to Buy a School Bus for Orphanage in India

Hey y'all:

Your support in combination with donors around the world has been a success! The orphanage in India was able to raise the $20,000 they needed to buy the school bus. We raised over 10% on Facebook alone! Thanks and God bless!

Here is the email I received from the director of the orphanage:

Dear Scott,

It is with immense joy that we send you this email. The children are ecstatic! the teachers are glad! in orther words, everyone in our ministry and all that we minister to, deeply appreciate the bus and send our thanks to you and all those who generously donate to make this possible.

1. Now, the 85 homebased orphans loved coming to school, rain or shine, every morning and evening, seeing the smilling faces multiplies our gratefulness to one and all. If you remember, we have mentioned that some of the orphans lived in distant villages. The dusty winter roads and the muddy rainy season roads will no longer be a source of dread when going to school!

2. The students at Covenant School will use it to go for educational tours to nearby important historical sites, and outings. Thus, all 650 students at the school will benefit from it.

3. The Home/orphans used the bus to visit supporting churches in Manipur and update them and encourage them to support us more prayerfully and financially.

4. Our church, the Presbyterian Church In India cwill be using the bus when retreats, campings, and conferences are held.

Thank you so much. God's wholesome blessings to you.

In His grace,

Lian & Clara Tombing
