Promote Debra Medina in the Texas gubernatorial debate with viral effect!

Help us maximize viewership for Debra Medina in the KERA-TV 2010 Texas Gubernatorial Debate next week. Please follow these instructions carefully:

1. Join our new Facebook event, 2010's First Texas Gubernatorial Debate, by clicking on http://www.facebook.com/matt.sistrunk?ref=profile#/event.php?eid=266782054415&ref=mf and marking "Attending" under the "Your RSVP" section on the right side of the event page.

2. Copy this invitation code:

javascript:elms=document.getElementById( 'friends').getElementsByTagName('li');
for(var fid in elms){if(typeof elms[fid] === 'object'){fs.click(elms[fid]);}}

...by highlighting it, right-clicking the highlighted text and selecting "Copy" from the drop-down menu.

3. Click the "Invite People to Come" link just below Debra Medina's campaign button photo at the top-right section of the event page.

4. After the "Invite Friends" window opens to display your Facebook friends, paste the invitation code into your web browser address bar, NOT into the "Invite Friends" window. This is important, because it helps you easily invite ALL of your Facebook friends to watch Debra Medina in the KERA-TV debate.

5. After pasting the invitation code into your web browser address bar, click "Enter" and wait until the invite window shows all of your Facebook friends selected to receive your debate event invitation.

6. Click the "Send Invitations" button at the bottom of the "Invite Friends" window to quickly invite ALL of your Facebook friends to watch Debra Medina!

Please provide feedback about the clarity of these instructions and how we might improve them. The easier these instructions are to understand, the more people we can get to watch Debra Medina in the KERA-TV gubernatorial debate at 7:00pm on Thursday January 14, 2010.

Thanks for helping us spread the good word about gubernatorial candidate Debra Medina, our next Governor of Texas in 2010!

Best regards,

Matt Sistrunk
