More than 20,000 dolphins and porpoises are being slaughtered each year and their meat is being sold as food in Japan, often labeled as whale meat. Courageous documentary filmmakers infiltrated a remote village in Japan to shed light on this horrible practice. The movie they made, The Cove, is in theaters now and we need your help to spread the word.
We know your cause may not be about dolphins but, as someone who loves animals and is the administrator of a cause on Facebook, you have the unique opportunity to really make a difference and stop the dolphin slaughter. Please feature the petition "End the Brutal Killing of More Than 20,000 Dolphins Every Year in Japan" on your cause by clicking here:
Don't forget to send an announcement to your cause members about the petition and give them the chance to take action on this important issue. Want to know more? Click here to view the trailer of the movie: http://media.causes.com/532484?m=8fa981c4
Every so often, a documentary comes along that can really make a difference. If enough of us seize this opportunity, we can put a stop to this. Let's make it happen.
Thank you for taking action,
