To educate and promote water safety
In 2008, Kaelin Hampton drowned at age 11. The KMH Foundation was established to help educate families on water safety, raise awareness about swimming, and to establish scholarship funds so that parents can afford to send their children to swimming lessons.

2. 6 out of 10 African American and Hispanic/Latino children do not know how to swim
3. Children from non-swimming families are 8 times more likley to drown then their counterparts.
