About

Scientists use animals to test medicines, cosmetics , and products we use . This has been a controversial issue for many years. With biotechnology changing rapidly  there is no attribute validation to perform cruel testing on animal's. We must open our eyes and change the laws that permit this inhumane treatment of dogs, cats, primates, sheep, hamsters, birds, all animals. They are subjected to excruciating pain day after day. And they end up passing away from the abuse or end up going insane or die from neglect or starvation. Please read the facts whatever your position is.

Estimates say that between 14 and 70 million animals are used in experiments each year.  It's impossible to know exactly how many animals are tested because US law does not require scientists to report how many animals they abuse. Many of these labs burn, shock, torture , and starve animals without pain relief. Animal testing that was outlawed in the UK was moved to the US.

86,000 dogs and cats are subjected to lab experiments day after day ... companion animals that have no way out, nor have a voice. We need to open eyes and end this unethical treatment and stop the millions of dollars funding the horror of abuse. The labs and Universities , pharmaceutical companies, farms defense establishments and commercial facilities. They need the grants to fund there profits . Have they cured any serious diseases? With breaking technology we do not  need to test on animals. Ask yourself why no major breakthroughs w/ cures ....... they need to keep funding their greed, using animals, there are no laws to mandate how manyanimals they use as long as the funding is in place. The earliest references to animal testing goes back to 2nd and 4th centuries BCE. Most animals are purpose-bred, while others are caught in the wild or supplied by dealers who obtain them from auctions and pounds. Medical progress is being held back by misleading animal models, and some of the tests are outdated, that it cannot reliably predict effects in humans, that COST outweighs the benefits . or that animals have an intrinsic right not to be used for experimentation. Animal testing is often ineffective in predicting how products will work on people. Some estimates say up to 92% of tests passed on animals failed when tried on humans. I ask all to make a compassionate plea to end this cruel abusive treatment and take a stand. And perhaps by ending animal testing and vivisection we will become a society that values compassion and force the hand of greed to cure diseases that have plagued humans for decades.

In memory of ' Felix " and all the animals who have passed away never knowing compassion or love nor seeing the sky above. Living in utter despair with no home of their own.
