Help raise money and awareness of premature birth.
My niece Isabel was born prematurely over four years ago. This was a devastating time for all of my family, especially my brother and sister-in-law, Albert and Tania. We lived our lives day-to-day hoping and praying for things to go well. With the technology and wonderful doctors and nurses that tended to her, slowly but surely she was released from the hospital. It was very emotionally overwhelming for my family, knowing that there was not much that we could do aside from wait for her to grow and give her all the love possible. She is now a beautiful, feisty, happy and intelligent girl with a mind of her own. Not to mention that, she is also a big sister to her brother Logan, who just turned 1 and is excited to explore his new world on his own two feet. This is my third year of participating in this walk, as I would like to make this a tradition and a reminder of our gratitude for all of the lives, including my niece's, that March of Dimes has touched. Please help raise awareness of premature birth and also to improve research and technology to prevent other families and children from having to endure the hardships of premature birth. Thank you!
Peace & Love.
2. I would like to raise $500 to help prevent premature birth. My niece Isabel, now 4 years old, was born 2.5 months premature.
