About

to raise awareness and money to find a cure and better treatments.

my younger brother was diagnosed with osteosarcoma when he was 17. John fought for his life for over 5 years. on december 10th, 2009, he died at 22. the cancerous tumors kept coming back. i was there for him, the other children & thier families at sloan & kettering hospital & the ronald mcdonald house. i've seen him go through countless surgeries, losing all his hair, getting up every 3 hours to make sure he took medications, lose a lot of weight, chemo, radiation & even more horrible things people with cancer endure. my goal is to atleast raise awareness, we can donate money, buy livestrong bracelets, donate blood & platelettes, brain storm to come up with ideas. even if you dont have the money, the livestrong braceletes & other cancer braceletes are extremly cheap($1 each) & u can donate blood & platlets (free cookies and juice!). however, if nothing is done your not part of the solution. everyday, babies, children, teens & adults die from this cancer! i cant let my brothers death be in vaine! i beg of you to find it in your heart to do something. you never kow, one day it can happen to you or someone you know.

1. it was only about 10 yrs ago the only cure was to remove the limb. there have been many advancements. still this form of cancer extremly hard to cure
