On July 30th a group of 18 folks from CAMP Rehoboth’s Volunteer on Vacation program took time away from their vacation and normal Saturday morning activities to help someone in our community. During a quilting group at the senior center another senior center quilter, Margaret, mentioned that her yard was in need of TLC and she didn't have anyone to help her with it. One of the other people at the center knew about the VOV program and told her that she knew a group of volunteers that could help out. The volunteers raked leaves, trimmed bushes, pulled weeds, and put mulch down. A few volunteers installed a window air conditioner - which she welcomed due to the excessive heat. The volunteers also spent time talking and getting to know Margaret.
