The Citizen's Commission on Human Rights investigates and exposes psychiatric violations of human rights. It shall continue to do so until psychiatry's abusive and coercive practices cease and human rights and dignity are returned to all.

CCHR's key role has been one of public information through its websites, press releases, free publications and brochures, and through providing studies and information to experts government officials and the media so people are properly aware of their rights. It also testifies before Congresses, state governments and Parliaments.
