Free classical event of music and poetry

In the past weeks, the Dranoff International Two Piano Foundation has been performing for over 2,500 middle school students in Overtown, Liberty City, and Little Haiti in our music and poetry education project PIANO SLAM – “The Music Speaks.” This amazing program will culminate with a concert at the John S. and James L. Knight Concert Hall at the Adrienne Arsht Performing Arts Center on Tuesday, May 5th at 7 p.m. The concert will feature Dranoff winners, Maarten and Jeroen Van Veen, and acclaimed spoken word artists Deborah Magdalena and Mecca aka Grimo in a Classical piano concert and performance of the poetry of children participating in PIANO SLAM – “The Music Speaks.”
