To make a difference and save lives of homeless animals and each one of you can make a difference, you really can!

"Animals deserves a chance to live a full life." (Daniel Hausmann)

The kitty in our picture was a real shelter cat they named Galvin, he did not make it out alive, I tried to save him, I called an hour too late, he had just been killed. This was in 2001. He has been in my heart ever since, I can't shake that I didn't call sooner, I had seen his picture four hours before but was waiting until my lunch hour to call and put a hold on him. This site is in honor of all of the Galvins in the world, who did not get out alive.

We here believe that each and every one of you has the power to make a difference in an animal's life. If you cannot do it yourself, please donate and help us continue to be out in the battlefield of unwanted pets and save more lives and make a difference.

NOTE: This cause was created in 2009 by a 12 year old boy who loves animals. He is a volunteer for our rescue organization and he is an amazing human being even at this young age. His love and compassion for homeless animals motivated him to start this cause page on his own and choose his rescue organization as the beneficiary. He found the cute picture of a kitten to use for the site, came up with one sentence that says it all, "DON'T KILL UNWANTED PETS AT SHELTERS" and it took on a life of it's own. This page has grown in leaps and bounds and has now thousands of members, because they are in agreement with our amazing volunteer, Daniel.

I want to thank Daniel for starting this cause and I want to thank each and every one of you for becoming a member of this site.

I hope that we can build on this cause page and make it something spectacular. Each one of you can make a difference in a homeless animal's life, by either working hands on with homeless animals or donating to causes suchs as ours to allow us to do what we are doing.

Thank you!
