Back to Arizonans Against Proposed Education Budget Cuts

The College Board reports more high performers on the SAT than ever before.

Interesting. Even the College Board states that despite a decline in mean scores, there are more high performers on the SAT than ever before, and the percentage of students scoring in the top two score bands (600-800) on each section of the SAT has remained fairly stable during the last five years. In addition, people overwhelmingly give their own kids' school an A or B. So whenever you hear that schools are failing -- remember, the reality shows a different picture. By the way, thank a teacher and work to elect officials who support funding to education.
