To allow non-stop cross-country flights to two of the nation's most convenient airports, National in DC and Laguardia in NY

For a long time there has been a silly rule that flights could only go 1,250 miles from National Airport and 1,500 from LaGuardia. This was initially done to protect the more distant new airport Dulles and JFK respectively. Now these airports are established this is no longer necessary. I have been a longtime Obama supporter, but I must commend McCain for introducing legislation to make this a reality. Please join and show the strong support for this.

1. Current perimeter restrictions are antiquated ways to protect JFK and Dulles

2. Regulations should be based on noise level and flying times, not destination.
