To work for the passage of the DREAM Act as a stand alone bill. This cause is handled by http://dreamactivist.org. Please "like us" on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/dreamactivist.org

This cause is dedicated to the passage of the federal DREAM Act (Development, Relief, and Education for Alien Minors Act), a bipartisan legislation that would permit a select group of undocumented students conditional legal status and eventual citizenship granted that they meet the following requirements:

* if they were brought to the United States before they turned 16,
* are below the age of 30,
* have lived here continuously for five years,
* graduated from a U.S. high school or obtained a GED
* have good moral character with no criminal record
* and attend college or enlist in the military for at least two years.

Every year, thousands of undocumented students graduate from college and high school. Most people in the United States are unaware of this growing group and their everyday struggles for the American Dream. In the same vein, many of the undocumented students do not know what the DREAM Act is and what they can do to help its passage.

1. Path to legalization for undocumented immigrants especially immigrant youth (through campaign escalation)

2. Access to financial aid, scholarships, and other supplementary opportunities to higher education/post secondary education

3. In-state tuition/equity of access to higher education for all students

4. Building the leadership of immigrant and non immigrant youth to incorporate them into the decision making through leadership development
