FYI from the LGBT Center
There's lots going on in May at the LGBT Center of SE Wisconsin ... beginning with our updated Web site.
Now on Our Front Page ...
Important news specific to this LGBT Center are featured on our home page: www.lgbtsewisc.org. One thing, especially, that we're asking you to look at and respond to is a very, very short survey -- only seven (7) multiple choice questions -- about events, activities and outings you'd like to see us sponsor over the next few months. Please note that the LGBT Center of SE Wisconsin will be closed from Saturday, May 29th, through Tuesday, June 1st, for the Memorial Day holiday. We reopen on Wednesday, June 2nd. Please drive carefully!
It isn't that often that local venues feature world-class entertainers ... let alone performers of particular interest to the LGBT community. But that's exactly the case on Saturday, May 8th, when Racine's Memorial Hall welcomes Suzanne Westenhoefer supported by performers Melissa Ferrick, Ronnie Nyles & Tallulah Who. The women are uniting for "Children of the Fallen," a very special benefit performance. You can purchase tickets and get more information online ... or visit the Calendar page of our own Web site: www.lgbtsewisc.org/calendar

The LGBT Center of SE Wisconsin wouldn't be here if it weren't for you. Unlike most nonprofits, we don't receive hefty grants or major support from foundations and corporations. We need your commitment and tax-deductible membership funds to provide our services and activities. Not only is membership in the LGBT Center cheap -- ranging from just $10 to $30 per year for individuals and households -- but belonging is the right thing to do so we can stand up and be counted while serving those less fortunate. You can join online, make a donation, and pay securely by credit card. Full information about membership is also posted online: www.lgbtsewisc.org/membership
