The mission of the Second Wind Fund is to decrease the incidence of teen suicide by removing financial and social barriers to treatment for at-risk youth.
Second Wind Fund of Metro Denver provides counseling to students at risk for suicide who face financial barriers to receiving the therapy they need. Since 2002, Second Wind Fund has provided counseling to nearly 1,850 students from 300 schools throughout the Denver Metro area and other parts of Colorado. To find out more, visit www.swfmd.org.

2. Remove the stigma surrounding suicide and mental health by encouraging help seeking behavior.
