HelpLine seeking energetic, committed individual to coordinate suicide prevention activities in two county service area. Responsibilities include classroom prevention presentations to middle and high school age youth utilizing evidence based curricula; Community training presentations to adults; Engaging community partners to meet collaboratively developed strategic goals around suicide prevention; Oversee Survivors of Suicide Support Group; Recruit, train, and oversee suicide prevention volunteers who will be trained to do classroom presentation work; Maintaining timely documentation and reporting. Some weekend and evening work required.
Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Social Work or related field; LSW or LPC preferred; 5 years experience working in area of suicide prevention/intervention preferred; Excellent skills in community networking/engagement a must; Good organizational and presentation/training skills; Working knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Appreciation for the contribution of volunteers and ability to work effectively with them. Full time with competitive salary and benefits.
