Kick Off the Season With Fur-Free Friday!

November 25, the day after Thanksgiving in the U.S., is the biggest shopping day of the year. Fur-Free Friday (http://www.peta.org/action/Fur-Free-Friday-2011.aspx?utm_source=PETA%2BEmail&utm_medium=Causes&utm_campaign=1011%2BFur%2BFree%2BFriday%2B2011%2BFeature), as it's also known, gives the international animal rights community a chance to remind shoppers to love animals, not wear them. What better day to inform shoppers about the barbaric fur and skins trade than when they're out checking off gifts on their holiday shopping list?

Last year, we kicked off the season with a bang with 250 registered events around the globe! Be part of the Fur-Free Friday festivities this year and plan an event (http://www.peta.org/action/Fur-Free-Friday-2011.aspx?utm_source=PETA%2BEmail&utm_medium=Causes&utm_campaign=1011%2BFur%2BFree%2BFriday%2B2011%2BFeature) in your area! Fill out this form (http://www.peta.org/action/Fur-Free-Friday-Registration.aspx?utm_source=PETA%2BEmail&utm_medium=Causes&utm_campaign=1011%2BFur%2BFree%2BFriday%2B2011%2BRegistration) to register your Fur-Free Friday protest and to request free signs, stickers, and leaflets! Register today! (http://www.peta.org/action/Fur-Free-Friday-Registration.aspx?utm_source=PETA%2BEmail&utm_medium=Causes&utm_campaign=1011%2BFur%2BFree%2BFriday%2B2011%2BRegistration)

This Fur-Free Friday, take a stand against stores that heartlessly continue to sell fur as well as designers who continue to use fur in their collections. Animals who are skinned alive and killed for clothing need caring people like you to encourage shoppers to choose compassion over cruelty throughout fall and winter.

Sincerely,
