Happy International Women's Day! In honor of the 100th anniversary of International Women's Day, women (and men) around the country are teaming up with Oxfam America to fight hunger, poverty and injustice. Women and girls make up the majority of people living in poverty. And although women produce most of the world's food, millions of rural women are now facing hunger.
We're raising awareness about hunger, climate change, and other crises facing women worldwide. And we're calling for an investment in women farmers, so we can fight hunger and poverty now and for generations to come. Join us! Add your photo to our interactive “Ending Hunger Starts Here” photobook (www.oxfamamerica.org/photobook (http://www.oxfamamerica.org/photobook)) and show your support for women worldwide. Help us show the world our commitment to empowering women in poor communities and ensuring sustainable development.
