Back to Special Needs Schools of Gwinnett

ANNUAL GOLF CLASSIC

Special Needs School of Gwinnett (SNS) is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing educational and therapeutic services to families of children with a wide range of disabilities. As the only special needs school in Gwinnett County not affiliated with a religious group, the school provides a loving and challenging environment for special needs persons from toddlers to adults. We opened in 1987 holding classes in a large closet in the Christ the Lord Lutheran Church in Lawrenceville. We are now working to raise funding to pay for construction of a $1.6 million, 30,000-square-foot facility with classrooms, therapy rooms, cafeteria, and teacher lounge and office space. Currently, its teachers educate 35 students in two converted houses and several trailers.

To accomplish this, we are holding a charity golf tournament. Money raised from this event will specifically go towards the new building. Therefore, we are asking for your help. We need financial sponsors, sponsors who can donate their goods or services, and participants who would like to play in the tournament. As a sponsor and your commitment level, you will have the opportunity to have your name and logo on media related releases. On the day of the tournament, there will be banners, signs and a program booklet with your name and logo as well. Please visit the tournament website www.snsgolfclassic.com
