About

CASA protects the best interest of abused or neglected children by training volunteers to advocate for them in courts, in schools & in our community to help them find safe, permanent & loving homes.

Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Travis County is the only organization in Travis County appointed by judges to be guardians ad litem in child protective services cases. CASA provides advocates to speak up in court for children who have been removed from their homes due to abuse or neglect. CASA of Travis County recruits, trains, screens and supervises these community volunteers so that they may properly advocate for the best interest of the child.

1. Each year CASA asks for support from our community so we can continue to advocate for and support child victims of abuse and neglect.

2. These children need the stable & supportive adult presence that our CASA volunteers provide during such a traumatic time in their lives.

3. Your support will help us to ensure that CASA remains a powerful voice for all the children who need us.
